Arabic letters, correct articulation and the first rules of Tajweed โ taught slowly enough that nothing gets skipped. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
Noorani Qaida is the right starting point for a child meeting the Arabic alphabet for the first time, and for an adult beginner who has never read Arabic script before. Most children are ready between four and six years old, once they can sit and focus for twenty to thirty minutes.
If a student can already read Arabic with reasonable accuracy, they may be better placed directly into Quran with Tajweed โ your teacher will confirm the right starting point after the free trial.
The 29 Arabic letters and their correct points of articulation (makharij), joined and isolated letter forms, short and long vowels, basic tanween and sukoon, and the first rules of Tajweed applied to short verses โ each built on the last, nothing rushed.
Most students complete Noorani Qaida in four to eight months at three classes a week, then move on:
Recitation rules applied until reading becomes fluent.
Memorisation with revision, or a move into verse-by-verse meaning.
Salah, daily duas and adab, taught alongside continued recitation.
No card required. Your teacher will confirm the right starting point after meeting your child.
